West Ave. in Fresno County, this 12-bed facility provides a residential program for Spanish-speaking men with alcohol or drug addiction. The structured, language-specific setting uses individual and group counseling, substance use education, and counseling for significant others, along with recreational activities such as gardening, reading, and physical fitness, helping clients focus fully on recovery. The program includes stress-management training, relapse-prevention planning, and discharge coordination with referrals to follow-up services. Certified under Drug Medi-Cal, it also offers a 24-week aftercare plan with weekly relapse-prevention groups and encourages alumni to stay connected through self-help meetings.
